Rabbit R1's Catastrophic Programming Mistake
The Rabbit R1 developers made a catastrophic mistake by hardcoding API keys directly into the code base. This allowed a group called Rabbito to gain access to the Rabbit code base and potentially read every R1 response in history, alter responses, and delete the AI voices from 11 labs to brick every single R1 in existence. The company's solution was to ignore the problem, which has since been resolved by rotating its API keys.
